Greeting from the Robinson Family! Our Christmas cards were ruined by the manufacturer, so no cards came as many of you may have noticed.
We hope everyone's Holiday Season was warm and filled with loved ones. We celebrated four birthdays, Christmas and the New Year with family. We had a wonderful time visiting with our family.
The above picture was taken in October, during fall break, at Chiricahua National Monument. We went camping for nine days. We listened to General Conference in our tent, next to Roper Lake. It was a true King Benjamin experience. After General Conference we traveled down to the National Park and stayed throughout the week. The boys played, built forts, made friends, hiked and kept me busy cooking food. I even managed to read a book, while listening to them having fun. Boyd hiked and enjoyed photography. He even got to photograph his first rattlesnake during a hike with Bryan.
On a sadder note, Boyd's mother, Linda Layton Robinson, passed away on January 17, 2013. After seven valiant years of fighting breast cancer, her body rested and her spirit became free. During the last few weeks, we were able to share our time and show our love to her. Her example of selflessness, service, charity and unconditional love will never be forgotten. She is now waiting for us on the other side and it is our responsibility to live worthily to join her someday. Linda - we are coming!
Our boys have grown significantly this year. We have been abundantly blessed. They continue to keep Boyd and I busy with their antics. Between school, after-school activities, Cub Scouts, Scouts, church callings and friends, I tend to only really see the older boys in the car and at dinner. So thankful for my ability to drive them everywhere, or else I may never get one on one time! Clark is loving preschool this year and Oliver awaits his big brothers coming home each day. William, Nathan and Justin enjoy their new school. They have great teachers and I really like their school. I always feel welcomed! Bryan has begun to register for High School next year. I can barley believe it, High School! Time really goes faster with each year.
My mother, Judy, has had a great year for health. We are so grateful. She has help me by watching the younger boys, when I run the big guys to and from school. She enjoyed visiting my brother Jared this year and love her trips to Disneyland! She had so much fun watching the grandkids experience the magic.
We send our love to each of you. Please drop us a line and let us know what is going on in your life!
